Preparing your Application and Professional Portfolio in EASy

Debbie Weatherston once said, "Endorsement is a journey, not a race" and this statement is so very true.  Please take as much time as you need to develop a comprehensive and complete application.  To help with this process PA-AIMH, in collaboration with the Alliance, has posted some documents that will help you begin to prepare your application and professional portfolio. These documents will help you begin to look at how your education, work experience, and training align with the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® Competency Guidelines.  The first step in the Endorsement process is to review the competencies for the category of endorsement that reflects your current scope of work with infants, young children, and their families.  If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Pennsylvania Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health’s Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health® Competency Guidelines please email us at pa-aimh@pa-aimh.org. Please do not copy or distribute the Competency Guidelines (see protection statement below and within the document). Individuals are encouraged to send other interested professionals to this website to request a copy of the Competency Guidelines.

Getting Started

The Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health and member AIMHs have developed an Applicant Endorsement Packet to assist you in preparing your application.  After requesting a copy of the guidelines and reviewing the section that applies to the role that you play in the lives of young children and their families, please use the resource below to begin your Endorsement journey:
Please use the following webinars which are intended to guide Endorsement® Applicants on the processes within EASy.
